Position Overview:
Beam Global is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Coordinator to join our team at the Broadview facility.
The Inventory Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing inventory processes, including receiving, cataloging, tracking, and conducting cycle counts.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically NetSuite, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Key
Responsibilities:
Receive inventory shipments accurately and efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented.
Utilize NetSuite ERP system to manage inventory data, including entering new items, updating inventory levels, and generating reports as needed.
Catalog inventory in the warehouse, organizing items in designated locations for easy retrieval and ensuring accurate labeling.
Track parts used on the production floor, in research and development (R&D), and during the transfer of locations, maintaining real-time visibility of inventory movements.
Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, purchasing, and logistics, to optimize inventory processes and maintain adequate stock levels.
Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance inventory management efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or related roles within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, for inventory management and reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or discrepancies.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in inventory transactions and documentation.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
